The ARS Group, which comprises of ARS Energy and ARS Steel, was incorporated as ARS Metals Pvt. Ltd., on 19th September 1990. ARS was established not only to help India reach her goal of becoming a global superpower but also to help South India, specifically, Tamil Nadu, become one of the most prominent production/manufacturing hubs in the country.
Since its inception, the promoter-directors of the company, Mr. Ashwani Kumar Bhatia, and Mr. Rajesh Bhatia have galvanized the energy and steel industry, and plan on using their vast experience in expanding overseas.
One of the biggest players in the steel industry in Tamil Nadu, ARS Steel, an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified steel manufacturer, has one of the largest induction furnace-based Steel mills in the country. The company is quality focused and does not compromise when it comes to delivering high-quality and best-in-class TMT bars.
Further, ARS Steel, in 2010, increased its billet production by installing a new furnace, thereby increasing the total capacity of the furnace to 1,58,000 MTPA. It also increased the capacity of its rolling mill to 1,80,000 MTPA.
In the future, the company plans on expanding its present steel melting facility even further by putting up another 25 MT furnace by December 2018. Thus, ramping up billet production capacity to 2,50,000 MTPA and rolling mill capacity to 2,35,000 MTPA.
Keeping in mind the commitment it has to its country and her people, ARS Energy, established in August 2013, was started to enlighten lives. Already successfully running a 60 MW Captive Power Plant, the company plans on setting up a higher-capacity Power Plant, with the aim of building a nation that is self-sufficient in power generation.
